Come Through NIKE

First and foremost let me start by saying I am not an avid runner but I like the challenge it brings…so guess what…your girl is running.


2024 I challeneged myself to run one 5k (3.2 miles) a quarter. So 4 for the year and I did that!!! (Pats self on the back). So now what?!?!?


Im challenging myself even more…so 10k it is. I dont know when or how many but lets prepare my new running self for 6.4 miles. You ready? Lol am I ready?


So step one. Download an app to help me prepare. I downloaded the NIKE running app and found a plan that prepares you for a 10k. Ok done.


To my surprise NIKE is on to something and I love it. One day down and Im hooked. Coach Bennett (Yes you are given a coach to push you along) not only give you feedback on how much longer you have to go. But provides mindfulness coaching. Did you hear me: MINDFULNESS COACHING! And I am hear for all of it!


On day one I ran a 3K and was asked about what I want to achieve, what I will read, what I will do for others and what I am proud of doing so far today. Not to mention the rapid fire questions!


Im in love! I literally cannot wait to run tomorrow!
